Well done to Green Beings for a successful River Rehab.

The kids not only felt a sense of achievement by donning their gumboots and gloves and helping clean the river but also learned about the mini Sass test.

After hauling bags and bags full of litter out of the river and the surrounding area they enjoyed identifying the mini crabs, bugs and beetles they fished out of the river into their little jars.

This is a far more enjoyable way to spend their weekend than watching TV or visiting game arcades in shopping malls. Not only are they helping save their environment but they are also having fun while doing so.

Great initiative and it’s inspiring to see the Youth getting involved.
