Africa, the birthplace of humankind, is considered one of the world’s most sought after tourist destinations due to the huge diversity of people, places, climates and animals. Africa is also one of the poorest continents and many African countries rely heavily on tourism for survival. In South Africa tourism accounts for 1 in every 12 jobs and generates in excess of R300 Billion annually towards its GDP.

Sadly, much of Africa’s natural wealth is under huge threat and classed as endangered. Africa is LOSING its WILDLIFE to human greed. Africa has become the focus of huge illegal international crime syndicates, who profit from all that is African.

DAILY, Rhino’s are being brutally poached for their horns and Elephant for their tusks, not to mention the hundreds of other animal and plant species which are being decimated to supply the insatiable appetites of humans.

50% of the African population is under the age of 25. Many of these young Africans face daily harsh socio-economic challenges, unemployment and poverty which would be exacerbated by the loss of their natural heritage.

The time has come for them to say “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” and stand together to save Africa for the future of Africa. Every youth, irrespective of affiliation, race, creed or colour, regardless of their social or economic challenges, should be afforded the opportunity to be part of the solution. United, they have the potential to make positive change happen!
