1,000,000 Footprints hosts the Youth Rhino summit Vietnamese delegation

1,000,000 Footprints to Save Africa ambassadors will be meeting with the children of Vietnam on Saturday 27th September 2014.

These children will be representing Vietnam at the World Youth Rhino Summit in KwaZulu Natal, being held at the iMfolozi Game Reserve on the 22nd and 23rd September 2014.  This historical summit with be bringing together children, not only from South Africa and other African countries, but also from Asia where the demand for animal parts is one of the greatest factors contributing to the decimation of Africa’s wildlife resources.  It will be providing a forum where future leaders can be empowered through knowledge so that they can contribute in a significant way to combating wildlife crime, poaching and the myths surrounding medicinal value of wild animal parts.

Under the auspices of the United States Government,  OMG (One More Generation), Children for Conservation and Dance to be Wild  are privileged to be hosting the Vietnamese delegation on their Johannesburg stopover, before returning to Vietnam.
